Behold, the handmaid of the Lord

- Mary's humble yes that she gave to the Lord's request to bear Christ into the world is the very thing that brought forth our eventual salvation from sin and death.

- God carefully molded Mary to be the perfect candidate to take on this role, and she responded to His grace in all moments of her life, never once wavering in her faith,.

- We honor Mary as she was the first tabernacle containing Christ, the mother of our Lord and Savior, and the archetypal disciple showing us all how to live in union with God on our earthly sojourn.

How is it that I deserve the mother of my Lord come to me?

- Mary consistently proved to be well aware of her identity as a beloved child of God the Father, never once giving herself to anything lacking in truth, goodness, or beauty.

- As your mother, it is Mary's vocation to help you foster a consistent passion for our Lord, putting to death your vices and kindling a stable love for Christ.

- Mary will not let you settle for a weak flame set ablaze by a powerful talk or experience on a retreat.  Mary wants to make you a saint in your everyday life.

Cultivating a deep desire to unite oneself to Christ in deep prayer of her Holy Rosary

Encourages one to regularly receive the sacrament of Reconciliation to prepare for Holy Communion

Points you directly to frequent consumption of Christ in the Eucharist, uniting yourself wholly to Him

Repeated until the hour of our death...

Mary gathers to her bosom the flower of her virginity.

Mary is just as much your mother as she is Christ's, as we are all in the body of Christ, making up individual members of His.

Let her mother you.  Mary never loses, and so as a child of Mary, you will never be lost.  That's a guarantee.
